Perun, Mokoš and Veles – three small casks from Mackmyra opens a series dedicated to the Slavic Culture beginning with Slavic deities which shaped lives and mindset of ancient tribes living between the Elbe and Dnipro rivers. Despite passing into oblivion, their marks have preserved in customs or sayings.
Arkona is famous for a cult site of the Slavic tribe of Rani, used from the 9th to the 12th century. Destroyed in 1168, it was the last temple of the Slavs. The name Arkona most probably derives from Slavic jarъ, *jȃrъ which means fresh, fiery, ardent, furious, springtime, strong, springy, young, bright, and red. Let this series be full of character, Let us all discover the unknown.
